Kidz
Your kids might just love church more than you do! Our Kidz In The Word experience is packed with fun, from interactive age-appropriate Bible lessons, games, and prizes—trust us, they’ll be begging to come back.

Our Senior Pastors
Dr. R.A. Vernon and Dr. Victory Vernon are the visionary founders of The Word Church, one of the largest and most dynamic ministries in the nation. Known for his bold, relatable preaching, Dr. Vernon makes the Gospel practical—addressing relationships, finances, and faith with biblical solutions.
Dr. Victory Vernon is a compassionate leader and powerful voice for personal transformation, inspiring others through her book, I Am Victory, and her leadership.
Married for over 25 years, the Vernons are proud parents of five and joyful grandparents. Together, they lead with a deep commitment to faith, family, and service—creating a church where everyone can experience God’s transformative love.
Our Campus Pastor
Dr. Willie Patton is a purpose-driven leader, communicator, and creative with nearly two decades of ministry experience.
A graduate of Cleveland School of the Arts, where he majored in Theatre, Willie brings a unique blend of creativity and conviction to everything he does—believing imagination and innovation are essential to life and ministry.
He holds an earned Doctor of Ministry in Black Church Studies with a focus on the Call to Ministry, and he’s passionate about helping people discover their purpose and walk boldly in it.
Willie and his wife, Jonea, have been married for 17 years and are raising their three children—Willie Jr., Nigel, and Zoe—in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

Kidz In The Word is hypest place for your little ones in the city. We believe in building the next generation. Every service experience is tailor-made to reach your child at their level. Not only will they have fun, but they will learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith.
Upon arrival at all of our locations, you will be able to check in your child at the KITW check-in stations. Your child will then be led to their classroom and taken care of by background-checked volunteers. Click here to pre-register for faster check-in.

Word Way is our 3-step process that connects you to our church and helps you identify your God-given plan and design.

Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” The truth is the three most important days in your life are the day you were born, the day you were born again, and the day you find out why.
Word Way helps you identify why God designed you and what your purpose is on the earth.
It happens after all of our services. We have childcare for your kids. You don’t need to sign up; you just show up.
TWC Groups
Groups are another great way to find your fit and meet people. Groups happen throughout the week in various places around Greater Cleveland and online. In Groups, you can meet people with common interests, build your faith, and grow. Learn more here.
