Twenty-five years ago, The Word Church began with nothing but a bold vision and unshakable faith. From a rented auditorium to a multi-campus ministry impacting thousands weekly, God has used our church to change lives across Cleveland and beyond.

To mark our 25th anniversary, we’re launching the Difference Makers Campaign: a bold, one-day giving initiative designed to raise the largest single-day offering in church history.

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a faith move.

    • Warrensville Campus Debt Elimination — Imagine a church that owes nothing and can do anything. Paying off our primary facility sets us free to dream bigger, give more, and respond faster to what God is calling us to do next. We’re removing the weight so we can run further.

    • Upgrades to Kidz In The Word Facilities — Our children’s ministry isn’t an afterthought—it’s our first investment. We’re creating safe, dynamic, tech-forward spaces that speak their language, build their faith, and ignite their potential from the very beginning.

    • Expanded Matthew 25 Alive Impact Center — What began as M25-Alive has now grown into a city-shaking vision for holistic, compassionate care. We are merging our grocery store transformation, clothing resources, and healthcare outreach with a centralized hub to create the Matthew 25 Alive Impact Center—a one-stop lighthouse of hope. This center will offer groceries, clothing, medical screenings, mental health counseling, job readiness training, and spiritual support all under one roof. It's where tangible needs meet radical love. When Jesus said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat… I was sick and you looked after me… I was a stranger and you invited me in," we took that not as a suggestion—but a mission. This is the church at full strength—present, prepared, and positioned to bring lasting change to the most vulnerable in our city.

    • Campus Expansion Across Northeast Ohio — We believe every neighborhood deserves a Word Church campus. These are more than buildings; they are spiritual outposts—embassies of hope bringing light into communities who’ve long been overlooked.

    This is about fueling the future. It’s about turning vision into victory.

THE HEART BEHIND THE GIFT

We don’t give because we have to. We give because we get to.

  • Throughout Scripture, generosity isn’t just commanded—it’s celebrated. Jesus said in Matthew 6:21, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” When we give, we align our hearts with God’s priorities—and position ourselves to be used by Him in ways we never imagined.

    In Matthew 25, Jesus paints a clear picture of what faithful service looks like: feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, caring for the sick, welcoming the stranger. These aren’t symbolic ideas. They’re spiritual directives. And this campaign is our collective response.
